  • For Sale Mazda 1.8L BP motor, springs, others

    Hello All,

I hate for this to be my first post, and a long one at that, on this message board, but I have to make space in the garage.

Quick intro: My name is Alex and I drive a silver P5. Might of seen me in a few events this year...for those that announced, I'm the guy with a long last name

Below are images of stuff I have for sale. it is a fully rebuilt, from bottom up, 1.8L BP motor out of a first gen protege. The bad thing about the motor is it has been sitting there for quite some time w/o being turned over. All the seals, rings, gaskets have been replaced. The head has been ported and polished and has a mazda GTX intake cam. Motor has NGK plugs and Thundervolt wires. The oil pan is off a turbo motor with the bung ready for a return line. The G-series transmission also goes with the motor (has a welded stock diff.)

Also in the pictures below are other items I have sitting around on the shelf (oil pans for same motor, intake manifolds, H&R Springs for 1st gen proteges with hardly any use in them).

All of the items can be delivered within the Birmingham area (unload truck on your own)

    Thanks for looking.

Wouldn't be for sale if I had a bender, a welder and some piping with enough garage space lol.

This would be a nice backup for Byron's RallyX car.

Any offers? I figured I can get at least $500 for the engine and transmission combo?
