Sorry, I forgot to mention this is used slag. Still, it was quite the deal. I say was because I did find a way to melt the slag into a hot gooey, smelly mess and reapply to my tires. The slag is no longer for sale.

I ran them through the washing machine then dried each piece individually, then put them all in a sauce pan and brought them to a boil. I added a little chopped onion and a pinch of garlic. At this point the smell became an issue. Once melted and stinking, I smeared the gooey stinking stuff onto the tire bonding it to the Hoosier surface. Then let them cool. After overnight cooling I hit the surface with a propane torch to bring it up to temp and let cool another night.

They came out great and are quite tasty.
