  • For Sale 2005 Dodge Neon SXT

I am putting my 2005 Dodge Neon SXT up for sale. I have owned this car since it had 4k miles on it. It has been garage kept for most of it's life. The car has a 5 speed manual transmission. This is great commuter car as I average over 33 mpg on my daily commute from Auburn to Tallassee, and back, for work. I've kept up with the last ~20k miles on Fuelly.com and I've never gotten below 26 mpg out of this car and on highway trips I've seen over 38mpg multiple times with a best of 42mpg! Since purchasing this car with 4k miles on it I've always used Mobil 1 synthetic oil at every oil change. The car has never leaked or burned any oil even at the last oil change which was done at 133k miles. The only "maintenance" I've ever had to do was all routine; change the brake pads, replace the rotors and drums, change the oil, etc. This car has never given me the slightest mechanical issue and has always been dead reliable.

General details of the 2005 Dodge Neon SXT
    • 134k miles
    • 5 speed manual transmission
    • front and side air bags
    • AC - works great, nice and cold!
    • Power steering
    • Cruise Control
    • Power front windows

The SXT package means that this car has the following options:
    • Spoiler
    • 15" wheels
    • Fog lights
    • CD player
    • Factory Kicker sound system that includes upgraded speakers and a 10" powered sub-woofer in the trunk

Other items I've added to the car while owning it:
    • K&N air filter - added an honest 2-3 mpg highway
    • Tinted windows to a legal 35%
    • Mopar performance short throw shifter and shift knob
    • Trailer hitch for a bike rack or towing a small trailer

    Asking $3600 obo

I can also e-mail any additional pictures needed. The car is located in Auburn, AL.

Thanks Rod. But if it isn't an ACR, I cannot purchase it. Anyway, in about a week, I hope to have that Subaru from out of state to start the rallycross era....

I can attest to cold ac in neon's. It's sub-zero or the flames of hell...and if you ever decide to drive it into a concrete wall at 60mph it will hold up pretty well.

            So the ACR is dead?
