  • For Sale Cub Cadet LT1045 mower & 4x8 utility trailer

I have a Cub Cadet LT1045 riding mower that I won't have a use for with my new house down here in Auburn. In KY I had 0.79 acres and this thing was perfect for it but I'll have a much smaller lot down here so I thought I'd throw it up for sale. It's currently being stored at my parents house in Lacey's Spring, AL. I could deliver anywhere between Huntsville, AL and Auburn, AL for free. I could drive out of state for a nominal fee to deliver it to you.

    The specs:
    • 2007 Cub Cadet LT1045 - I purchased new from Home Depot
    • 98.4 hours
    • 46" deck with 3 blades
    • Mulching attachment
    • 20hp Kohler single piston
    • Hydrostatic Trans w/ reverse mowing capability
    • Cuise Control
    • Parking Brake
    • 18" turning radius
    • Manually adjusted cut height
    • 3.5 gal fuel tank
    • Quick clean deck system (attachment for garden hose)
    • Spin on oil filter, I always used a Mobile 1 filter
    • Oil always changed with Mobile 1 full synthetic
    • Cub Cadet Seat Cover on since day 1
    • Cub Cadet storage cover
    • Always garaged, never left outside
    • Always used a battery tender over the winter months

I do not have pics right now but can get some from my parents if needed.

Asking $1000 obo for the riding mower.
    Sold!

I also have a harbor freight 4' x 8' utility trailer. This Model (click here)

I have added 4x8 pressure treated 3/4" plywood to the top of it and then topped that off with some roll on bed liner from Wal-Mart. I've also made front and rear 2x4 sides to go on it. I've used it to haul everything from my motorcycle, the riding mower to picking up 4x8 plywood and drywall and it's always been perfect. I've towed this with everything from a full size truck to my Dodge Neon without any problems.

You can take out two pins in the front and tilt the rear down to the ground to load or unload anything with wheels. Worked ok for the mower but still easier to use a small ramp for loading a motorcycle.

This model also folds in half and the tongue folds down then you can roll it into your garage on the casters. I've upgrade the casters as well to make it easier to roll when folded. I can get pictures of the trailer as well if needed. It's also at my parents house. I even have a title for it as you had to title it in KY, not sure on the title laws in AL for a utility trailer.

I'd like to get $300 obo for the trailer.

PM, e-mail or post up here if you have any questions or are interested in purchasing.

I was asked on another forum about the most important feature, does the mower have a cup holder? The answer is yes, it has a rather large cup holder for any of your beer or hydration needs.

What speed have you towed the trailer at?

I've had it up to 80mph behind the 2003 Dakota I used to own. That was with my motorcycle on it. Had it up to at least 75mph with the lawn mower on it. Never had a problem out of it. I always gave the bearing a couple of squirts of grease before any long trip and always used Mobile 1 synthetic grease in the wheel bearings.

I have to wait until after tax time but I may have to talk to you about that.

Bump - still have the trailer. Put up a craigslist post for it with pictures:

Bumped the price up on Craigslist just because of the low ballers, would still take $300 for it. It's now down here in Auburn and not in Huntsville anymore.
