I know it's been a long time since I posted here, but the house has finally sold and the shop must be cleaned out. This is a great opportunity to snag some stuff cheap!
1. 1986 BMW 535i - not mine, but it's in my shop and it's gotta go. 5 speed, nice wheels, red. this car is a driver, not a collectable piece (I said it wasn't mine :>) ). I think Ricky Ragan looked at it once and said it needs a rear wheel bearing. It drives out really well. Going cheap at $2500.
2. Hollow spoke Miata wheels, full set of four, but no center caps. These are the lightweight ones that you want. I ran them on the 1st gen MR2 and the weight savings made a huge difference. $75 for the set
3. Miata car cover - this is a very nice one, suitable for outdoor storage, includes storage bag, and cable for locking it down. $25
4. Strut compressor - this is a nice floor mounted unit that is compressed air/hydraulic operated. Heavy duty enough for a professional shop. Yours for only $50.
5. Torpedo heater and 100lb propane tank - this thing will toast your buns from 50 ft away. Big upright 100lb tank will last all winter. Like new. $50 for both.
6. Open car hauler (trailer) - 16ft plus 4 ft dovetail, stow away ramps, full steel diamond plate deck, dual axle, locking tounge box, good tires, tows like a dream. $500
7. Miscellaneous stuff - SImpson open face helment, big roll around shop type battery charger, small MIG welding gas bottle, big reels of MIG wire, 2 gal compressed air tank, big white marker board, mechanics creeper, flat screen computer monitor, two stereo systems (CD, tape, radio), small 12v air compressors, a few four drawer plastic file boxes, sets of fog lights; all must go so make an offer. I'm offering it here for the car guys and then it goes to the yard sale and then to the donation box or the dump. And I'm still going thru the shop pulling items that I don't want to move or store, so there is more to come.
8. I may also have some other items if the new owner doesn't buy them. Things like a shop desk, full size file cabinet, leather desk chair, and side chair. $50 for all of it. Also a limb chipper for $25. Free standing trash compactor for $15
If you want more info or to claim dibbs on any of this stuff, CALL ME at (205) 401-3820; I'll be too involved in packing and moving to monitor this post. Everything is located at my house on Hwy 231 between Ashville and Oneonta; delivery for some of the larger stuff to Birmingham during the week is a possibility.
Thanks,
Greg Lee
