  • 1993 Miata CSP prepped car, TT ready

Thinking about selling the Franken Miata track rate, I'd like to get something that I can drive on the street when I go to an event. It's a 1993 Miata, 200K miles on the body, unknown on motor, it was a used replacement. Salvage title car, hail damage and a dent behind the driver's side door. A/C removed, car is a manual window/manual steering car. All work done within last 1K miles.

New timing belt, water pump, CAS o-ring replaced, plugs, wires, egr valve, fuel filter, timing advanced to 14'.

New clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder, ATE Super Blue fluid used. Brakes flushed with Super Blue, autocross/track pads on front (can't remember exact compound, will look it up tonight), stock pads on rear.

AGX shocks with Rod Millen springs.

    New motor mounts.

Raceland header with cat delete pipe, new O2 sensor, stock exhaust from there on out.

Boss Frog roll bar (Clearview double diagonal, black), with SFI padding, harness bar & seat belt tabs. Harness good through remainder of year for TT.

Aluminum radiator to replace stock unit.

Elbow intake with cone filter, Air Research if I remember correctly.

    Momo steering wheel with adapter.

SSR Type C wheels, 15x6 with 225/45/15 Kumho 710s, probably 1 or 2 autocrosses left in them.

The car is black with Twilight Mica front fenders and a red driver's door, and a nice little patch of bondo on the rear DS quarter. The car is stout, runs great, experienced some fuel starvation at TGPR due to a clogged fuel filter in the tank, have new pump & filter to install, will do that in the next week or so. The top is shot on the car, but the frame is there if you wanted to install a replacement. $2900 obo, will consider selling without the rollbar if desired. Car does have an SCCA TT logbook. As a small justification, the last time you could get these wheels (8.4 lbs.!), they were priced at $390 EACH. One really nice way to shed some corner weight

I'll try to get some pics up tonight.

The turn signal intakes, racing seat and 949 wheels don't go with it, it will have regular turn signal lenses, and the SSR wheels, and a pretty shot stock seat with seat cover. The steering wheel is Bride, not Momo, and I THINK the pads are Axxis Ultimate, but I can't remember for sure which compound, I just know that they are Axxis. The bondo is a skim coat, the door took the worst of it, it's 1/16 - 1/8" at the thickest point.

Ok, Crow Mountain special time I pulled the shocks to put on my wife's car, so it's on stock suspension right now, I'll include the Rod Millen springs, it's on 7 spoke stock Miata alloys with street tires, OEM turn signals, Grant steering wheel, stock exhaust, $1900. Anyone?

The rollbar alone is $800 new shipped with all of the goodies (harness bar & seatbelt tabs), radiator is ~$150, another $50 for the clutch master & slave, $100 for the motor mounts, $100 for the intake, $125 for the pads (actually it was more, but we'll guess low), $30 for the ATE, $85 for timing belt/water pump kit, $35 for the new fuel filter, $35 for synthetic oil & Mobil 1 filter, not including the labor to put all this stuff on. So is $390 for a running Miata overpriced? Come on, somebody throw me a bone, make me an offer. Needing some cash!!!
