Clay is so fast he only runs one edge of the tire. He's also been known to arrive at the crack of dawn set up a great autoX course, fly to the middle east to pick up a Saudi Oil tycoon and then back to Bham to get the last run of the day securing top time of the day.
Maybe I exaggerate a bit... I don't think it was a Saudi oil tycoon.

A note for autocross Newbies- Tires with low tread are a good thing. Better turn in, better traction and less tire wear due to the flex of lots of tread....
And the price is right!
