  • For Sale 1986 Porsche 944 Turbo

This is a completly stock 944 turbo. The paint needs claybar and wax, but otherwise is still very red. It has a small vacuum leak that makes it idle weird when cold but still pushes 1.7 BAR at full boost. It's an amazing car. It'll outhandle just about anything and outrun many V8's. It has been garage kept. The guy before me never even put a set of tires on it in the five years he owned it. The dash is starting to show small cracks around the defrost vents but I've been conditioning to keep it from getting worse. It's an awesome car that I really hate to put it up for sale but I'm left with few options.

For those of you that know anything about these cars yes the clutch has been replaces (the orginal ones has a rubber core that eventually dryed out and broke) and no the odometer does not work. I doubt I've put 8000 miles on it in the three years that I've had it.

    $5000 OBO

I can attest for the awesomeness of this car. It's in great shape and pulls like a beast.

+1 on the condition of this car . Man if I were capable of supporting my hobby ...life would be so much more uncomplicated . I would love to have this car . For all who can appreciate this car i.e. was a teenager when this car came out new, you can appreciate it . For those who are too young, youll have to trust me when I say its an excellent and well preserved example .2.5 liters of torque monster with a turbo!!!!!!

Evan you need to get the pics working . Attachments work differantly than they used to so perhaps your method is the problem. Go to forum talk and post up or PM me and Ill see if I can help ya .

I don't think you can link to pictures on Spacebook, you will have to host them some where else.

I sent a PM for more info. I have a friend of mine that may be interested. Working pics would be great. Color and condition of interior? 86 or 86.5 dash style? wheel style?

I believe all the turbos have the later dash. Seems like it changed in 95.5

Sorry I don't have internet at the station and just made it home. I'll send the pics to anyone that asks and see about getting them up on here. It has the later dash, phone dial wheels, red ex black in. It needs a drivers side door handle. It's one of "those" parts. Small tear in the drivers seat between stiching, so it won 't get any bigger. It's probably an inch long.

                  Ricky you're making me sad

I'm...either selling or losing my house, not sure which yet. But I'm moving to Ozark and into an apartment. I'll have no where to store it that isn't outside and I'm not going to leave it outside. So hopefully anyone that is looking at buying has some garage space. Maybe I can find another one one day, though I doubt I'll be able to find one in as good of shape.

you could always get a car cover.. I hate to see that thing go.

If carly could sell her car we would buy that thing in a heartbeat.

Ozark is very close to the wiregrass ax site. They have some very technical memory courses that are a lot of fun. You might want to save that pretty car for their concrete surface.

I know exactly where that site is, I work there. I ran the civic there a few years ago when Aimee was driving it. But if all else fails I have Clay's old neon (who is coming to look at the p-car.)
