  • For Sale 1996 Miata for sale

Good friend of mine is selling his miata:

Up for sale is my 1996 Green-blue Mazda Miata. It is a 1996 with cloth seats, headrest speakers, A/C, CD radio with power antenna, 5 speed manual transmission, (I'm pretty sure it has limited slip, but I have not been out racing to find out), and the super light hollow spoke alloy wheels.
It has 211,XXX miles, and the engine was replaced sometime in its past. I do not know how many miles are on the engine because the previous owner did not keep up with service records, but it pulls very strong, does not smoke or stutter at any RPM or load.
The paint is okay, should shine up wonderfully with a good buff and wax. It has several scratches and nicks, as you would expect to find on a car with 211k miles. Interior is in surprisingly good shape, with the only notable issue being slight fraying of the drivers side seat bolstering.
Had a BRAND NEW crystal clear plastic rear window installed on the top. Top is in pretty good condition, should last a number of years with basic care, longer if kept in a garage.
It has nearly new tires on it.
The A/C system works when charged, but there is a slow leak somewhere in the system. I do not know where the leak is, but I did charge it, and the A/C compressor does engage when it is charged up properly.

The car handles great and is SUPER FUN to drive with the top down!
All it needs to be a perfect car is a good clean up and have the A/C leak fixed. I would fix the A/C, but I need this car to sell. Would be up for $4,000 with working A/C.

The car is located near Hoover, AL, which is south of Birmingham

I want $3,600 for this car. May be interested in trading for good condition BMW 3-Series E30 (1982-1989) or a good condition BMW 5-Series E34 (1988-1995) or for newer BMWs. Also may be interesting in trading plus cash for a very good condition running, driving, needs no repairs RX-7.
Please, no trades for motorcycles or any other kind of car.
