For Sale Four 17x7 MB Mesh wheels (5x114.3) and Tires

Set of four MB Mesh wheels (5x114.3 bolt pattern and +45mm offset) with 235/45-17 Hankook Ventus HRII tires (at 70-80% tread life remaining). The wheels and tires are in perfect condition. From my wife's Acura TL; put them on a few months ago and, before we sold it, I put the OEMs back on.

Set would run you $847 from DiscountTire.com. I'm asking $375 for the set.

I'd be interested, but I'm not sure how the 235 wide tire will be on my Lancer....I have a set of 18x7.5 running a 225 tire, and I have a rubbing issue.....let me do a bit of research, and I'll let ya know...

IMO those tires are great for daily use, but not abuse. Had them on a past car for a few years and then got a set for the wife. Low noise, wear well, and very comfortable, I just wouldn't carve any canyons in them. Put it this way, they're like a nice pair of house shoes vs a pair of Nike running shoes - they'll get you where your going as long as you don't have to race to get there!

^Yep. There was a "nearly dead" set of those on my car when I got it, and they lasted way longer than I expected. Autocrossed on them a few times back when the car was stock and I didn't know what I was doing anyway. They'll withstand the abuse of a FWD novice fairly well.
