Ok ,My son Matt is totally out of the kart and doesnt seem to have any interest in returning to it . I need (desperately ) the spot it resides in to put more of my useless crap ...LOL. I have not raced it since 09 but I just started the engine and it turned over maybe 10 times and roared to life .I gotta sell it . I am very flexible on the terms .It could be cash ,it could be some trade ,it could be a combination of barter ....whatever.Obviously cash is prefered since that is simple.When I say "negotiable "That is what I mean.
Just to put a starting point on it I will say $500 bucks for the kart,all wheels and tires(probably a pickup truck load),a drivers suit for karting10-12 yr old size,the starter box ,all of the 2 stroke oil I have,all of the gears and clutch parts ...etc. The kart is a 1991 comet chassis with a ported 100cc TKM 2stroke reed valve ,aircooled engine on a tuned pipe. THe engine has less than 2 hours since it got a new piston and rod.All gaskets new . Tillotson carb was built and has 4 hours on it (about 3 tanks of fuel).
This is a kart that is considered vintage by todays karting standards. It has the same characteristics as any 2 stroke.They are tempermental by nature.I have ridden it and it is a ton of fun.
