AutoX Birmingham 3-29-09

Hey everyone I'm finally getting around to posting these pictures I took at the last AutoX in Birmingham on 03-29-09. I didn't get there until after 1:00pm so I didn't get the morning sessions. these turned out very nice and there are some close action shots, which you might enjoy, and even maybe learn something about your technique, apex's, turn-in, etc. I know I was able to get a better feel for judging turn-in by exploring the sequence of some of the shots.
I will warn you there are 21 total pages of pictures in Gallery format. However; the thumbnail pages are easy to navigate and you can quickly browse through to your car's shots. All in all there are more than 1200 pictures shot with a canon 40D and I varied between my 70-200L and 300L lenses. If anyone wants some high res files just let me know. I'll give these out uppon request. They are huge files so you will need a way to download between 3-4 megs on each picture. So you might have a problem thru your email account.

Here are just a few teaser shots. The Miata guys are very well represented in these pictures, I took shots of every run after around 1:30. So browse thru and find your car's shots they will be there in the 21 pages of the gallery.

Yea, when I put the pics in this gallery format I used letters instead of numbers, hence the sometimes out of sequence. Next time it is numbers...lol...there are some good shots of your STI, and lots of Miata pics since that class was running when I got there.
And ofcourse some 3 wheeled action too.....





Why are there people running after Pat hits the course?..lol..



Ervin tries to intimidate the course into submission.
