Here are a few that I shot. I did not get to shoot both run groups as I was running in one of them. I don't have one of everyone in the first run group, sorry for missing some folks.

And the rest can be found HERE

Excellent shots, Jamie; great panning work. I'm assuming you have a stabilized lens to get down to 1/80 at 280mm! Excellent blur at those speeds.

Thanks Brad. I don't have the f/4 IS just the f/4. The only reason I was at 1/80 was because of the speed of the cars at the location I choose. I try to stay around 1/125, but I wasn't getting any wheel spin.

Man you've got steadier hands than I. It's hard for me to get below 1/200 and keep things sharp at a respectable level of consistency. Anyway, again great work, and thanks for offering to let me try the 1.4x. I may take you up on that next time if you have it out there.

Yeah I noticed that. The shot is not the best but I figured you would appreciate a shot of the tripod so I processed it anyway.

Thanks. I was. I try to find a spot that the sun does not "glare" and that the background is "clean" or "pleasing".

I doubt my hands are steadier. I cant hold a static shot below 1/160. Steady is when you can hold one at or below 1/100 LOL.
I'll be glad to let you use the TC just let me know. If you would like I will be glad to share some panning techniques with you at an event. Just let me know.
