Forum will no longer be utilized!

After facing many challenges with utilization of this forum for many years, the board voted on the evening of 1/12/2026 to stop use of the forum in favor of the modern, more effective means.

Most of our general club organization will now be coordinated via Discord and results from our events along with schedules and announcements will be hosted on our main alscca.net webpage.

What does this mean for the old forum? Well, in short we are going to stop using it. This has been reviewed several times in the past few years, and there has been a desire for some of more tenured members of the club to have the historic content preserved. In an effort to preserve this content, it was discovered that we could not simply export the content to be placed in a modern website. This forum will now become an archive only forum and will not be monitored. If you wish to preserve any of the content, this is your time to search the pages to find it. There is no promise that this content will remain available forever with the fragile nature of this forum.

            Looks clean to me. There were a couple of cones that I couldn't tell if they were gates or not, but I saw no glaring issue.

              It has since been addressed, however, the results originally posted showed that I had DNF'd on this run, my last run. I was quite confident that was not the case, however, it can happen where you just miss something. I got home and watched the video carefully, and was not able to see what could have even been mistaken as a DNF.

              I have worked Timing and Scoring in the trailer many times, and can appreciate just how hectic it can be. But care must be made not to place penalties incorrectly. If you aren't sure which car that DNF was called in on, ask the station to repeat it until you know for sure. Thank you to our T&S chief, Rob, on getting this straightened out.

                Glad it was made right.

                This one was correctable but such a mistake is very often out of the trailer's hands. If a corner calls in a penalty the trailer has no option but to record it unless it is one of those rarities where it was in a spot they could see and they happened to be watching.
