You weren't actually shifting that much were you?

The top of the parking lot from the sweepers to the "wallom" to the downhill sweeper was a place that allowed for a good bit of time to be made up, or lost. There is always a fine line between making the shortest distance possible out of the course, and carrying speed through features.
To me, just judging from the sounds of the car, and following the throttle trace (as much as possible, its not perfect on Harry's lap timer, though the app is awesome) you were not carrying as much momentum as it seemed you should be through the slalom, were too directional (not arching the sweeper-wallom-sweeper section) were over-slowing corners in the switchback, and not quite aggressive enough at the finish.

Now, take this as it is, as I'm the guy with the caution tape on the back of my helmet and people always preface a co-drive with, be nice to my tires and when you spin out don't destroy my tires. IIRC you are running the DZII on your Honda so yesterday was probably a difficult day for you anyway. I had my first experience with the DZII yesterday as well, with Sam's 350z, as well as first experience with his car. For the first 3 runs I was way overdriving the car, then I overdrove the tires the next two runs, and the final run I ran at about 7/10's pace and it all came together.

The most important thing I can say, is watch your videos vs other people's videos, get in the car with fast people and figure out where they are faster then you, and then possibly let someone co-drive with you (regardless of if they have caution tape on their helmet or not) and then ride every run with them, and see what you and they are doing different.

And finally, as a curiosity, are you using your phone (iphone/android) and a dongle adapter for the OBDII to get the throttle/gearing/tach output? Very well done on the video.

Wait, are you saying I was shifting to much? No, once I shifted to second after the start I didn't shift again. I'm not sure why it is showing all those shifts. I did ride with John Allen and he rode with me yesterday and it was immensely helpful. He gave me basically the same advice. My biggest issue is my brain yelling, "what the hell are you doing? Slow down!" Which makes me tentative at certain times. I've overcome it to a certain degree as my car control skills have gotten better but it's still a work in progress.

Yes, I'm using an ODBII wifi dongle I bought off Amazon for 30 bucks (which is probably why it's showing all those shifts) with an iPhone and a case with a wide angle lens. Yesterday was the first time I got the dongle and app to work together correctly.

Thanks for the advice and you're more than welcome to codrive with me anytime. I plan on going to a square setup next year so I might as well finish these tires off.
