I rode with Sean in the Odyseey. Wow he was smooth. First time he had ever been behind the wheel and got a 58 second run. Wow my hat is off to him. I also got to drive his Mini, Cool car. Going from an Odyssey to a Mini made it feel like a go cart. The only thing larger at the event than our Odyssey was the SCCAs trailor, and I do not think they ran it.

I know of 1 that I hit. First cone, first slalom, lol. After then I think I got one right before the end. Yeah I did hit a few, but I didn't murder them . A couple more runs and I'm pretty confident I could have hauled a clean run in at about a high 55 low 56ish. Might have seen a 54, it felt that good and if C5 Corvettes can go that quick why not the UBER VAN. The Odyssey was so planted to the ground it honestly caught me off guard for a sec. I know the first cone was a result of expecting the Honda to have as quick a rack as the Mini. I know better, but I went to turn in for that first cone and was like, oh yeah 3500 pounds and the length of 2 mini's lol. Readjusted for turn 2 and almost came to a stop to keep from getting later and later and then off we went. Paul kept reminding me this was the slower of the 2 Odyssey's but the acceleration was awesome. Going up the long right-hander at the far end I'm pretty sure I blistered the inside front all the way up the hill (sorry about that ). It was the quickest way to do it with the way I entered that section, honest it was. I'm still blabbing about how well mannered the ride was. The wheelbase meant that you could throw it into a transition harder than anything this side of a Formula car without so much as a peep out of the rear tires. Front-end grip was overwhelming for a vehicle that size. I'd put one in the garage if Honda wanted to build it! Our Greyhound would love it and I'd have room to haul the simulator wherever it needed to go, QUICKLY!!!!

"UBER VAN" and all likenesses thereof are not to be used without the express written consent of Sean, Inc. Copyrights are on file wherever copyrights are filled and all that sort of malarkey, lol. Of course I can be bought, persuaded and just all out bribed in various ways.

Hope the Turkey was good! I’ll talk to you guys soon.

I love the fact that even Japanese vehicles want cool German names. What kind of Japanese name would we invent with if I were able to scrounge up an R63 AMG and some slicks for it?

Why do I keep racing these weird cars?
Why can't I just get a miata and be happy?

Nobody can dispute the coolness of the word "UBER". Now that I've put this here someone will try. I suggest walking away as it just can not be done.

I would have gone with the Kaizen Van, but my company has already taken that equally as cool as "Uber" Japanese word for it's current project.

If we want to keep it Japanese, Oni-ssey might be appropriate . . .
