  • Scuderia ToroRosso in Caribbean

Jaime Alguersuari drove his Ferrari Red Bull on the beach at Santo Domingo in the Caribbean and actually got the thing in the water and was running on the shore line.

FREAKING AWESOME!!!! that had to be an incredible experience.

The RedBull teams do these demos in places all over the world, and this was the first one in the Caribbean. They ended up "packing" the sand and made a little road on the beach and part of the turn around was on the shore line so he just ended up driving the shore line. I'm sure the mechanics were none-to-happy after that day and cleaning the salt and sand out of every single crevice on the car and engine.

If the Red Bull brand has made Dieter whats-his-name such a gazillionaire that he can fund not one but two F1 teams plus all the other stuff they're involved in, then I guess he can run his old F1 cars wherever he wants

I tried a Red Bull once and can't understand why anyone ever buys a second one, but I admire the guy. If I had his kind of cash I would be sponsoring many of the same events they do. There would also be a Red Bull F1 somewhere sized to fit a 6'2" 240lb middle-aged american redneck

And as long as I'm dreaming, there would also be an enduro team having a great time trying to hit all the world's 24 hour races and built around a bunch of no-name Alabama autocross drivers. Given some of our recent discussions, the car would have to be a BMW-powered turbo AWD Miata running e85...with orange wheels!

Maybe use the miata chasis and drop a rabbit shell on top?

Because they heard I liked my name, so they put my name as my name so I could have my name in my name... all the time.
