I'm getting some in-car videos trimmed down to 10 minutes for youtube. Will post a link when done...hopefully tonight.

Team Kilgore will be particularly happy that I point an e30 by

I finally got some in-car vids to youtube. There was so much free space on track that there is not much passing going on for me, which was a good thing .

Saturday session 1: This was my first time @ TGPR

Sunday session 3: A little passing here. That's Anthony Coleman in the s2000. Team Kilgore will be pleased that I have to let an e30 by

Sunday final session: Last session of the weekend. Only 3 cars on track & I started first, so I had 12 absolutely clean laps. This video begins as I complete lap 2; the next 7 are my fastest of the entire weekend with two 1:17.9s and the rest 1:18s. Much credit to the improvement goes to Alan Branch, Todd Greene, & Marshall(?) who set themselves to replacing my overcooked oem pads with Alan's spare Hawks after Sunday's first session.

Here is one more: This is the last session on Saturday, my first after being signed off to solo. This one has several guest stars appearing in this order:
Robert Russom driving his PDX student's e30 M3 (with 98 M3 running gear)
Alan Branch sampling Todd Greene's Spec Miata
          John Newcomb in his BMW
And I think Bobby Bitterman driving the old Alfa

Looks like I should've had the corners watch specifically for late passes, especially with red cars. . .

Sorry bought the late pass. When you get a point by in the Alfa and the other car does not lift there is nothing it can do. The Alfa makes 112hp at the wheels and weighs 2200lbs w/o driver and passenger lol.

I spoke to Rod, today, and he said that you were so fast in the corners that he didn't think he'd be that hard to get by.

I told the corners to report passes that didn't look safe. You didn't attract any attention, apparently. I didn't discuss passing zones at all - something else to put on my checklist. I've been doing these things long enough, now, to forget that new folks don't already know some of the things that I take for granted.

No worries Bobby. You were so quick in the infield bits that I expected you to blow on by. I did lift some when I pointed you by but it took me a few seconds to realize that I needed to lift even more.

Beautiful Alfa by the way. One of my favorite cars of the weekend.
