Can we all just agree to ignore whatever comes after Blue Ray? I don't want to have to restart my collection ...... again.

LEAPING! I was LEAPING!!! Actually the flight instinct had kicked in and I was getting back to dry land.

Truth be told, I saw what looked like a reasonable route over some rocks that would get closer to the water fall and some great pics. I stepped out on the first couple dry rocks and then placed my left Piloti shod foot on what I thought was just a damp rock. I was honestly just testing this next rock and if it was slippery I was going to abort the mission. It wasn't just damp. It was covered in algae or moss or slime or whatever you call greenish brownish stuff on a rock in a freezing river. Piloti's are great driving shoes, but don't offer much traction in this scenario. My foot was sliding into the water and carrying me with it. So, without really thinking about how I was going to get back to shore I jumped to the next dry rock using the momentum of the MISTAKE I'd just made. I hung out for a few. Got some great pics and then had to figure out my way back to shore. I really didn't think this was gonna end well at all. If being in the gym the last six months has done nothing else, it is probably responsible for me actually being able to pull this off, lol.

FYI I have contacted several folks from the larger group on the run, and nobody has any photos posted anywhere! One gentleman has a few video clips posted here: http://www.youtube.com/user/Pdl2Mtl I've been in touch with one more friend who said he may have a few, we shall see.

Oh and that last photo of Sean the hurtling track star? AWESOME!!!!!

The Red Shoe Diary one reminds me I need to get to work on that video concept I'm developing called MY LEFT ARM. Finally got some action shots with the new GoPro...

Other possible titles include. "Look at that", "No seriously, it's right over there", "How long do I need to hold my arm out the window before this booger flies off my finger?" and lastly "Where can I find a mannequin arm to bondo onto both doors with a pointing finger?"

All could be huge box office hits. I think it could outsell Avatar and Titanic combined

                          See ya on Saturday.

This illustrates why I use orange gloves at track days, for better visibility.
