Does anyone know a good local source of aluminum intake tubing? You know, for an intake system?

You know, an intake system. I'm tired of shopping around for a prebuilt tube that doesn't seem to fit like it should. I found a place on line but everything listed is backordered. So I'm looking locally. I thought to use PVC for a temporary set up but I'm afraid the header would melt it.Originally posted by engled View PostWhat cha' building?!?!
I went to an autoparts superstore the other day for a relay and/or ignition switch for the BMW... they had neither.
They did have plenty of cashews, pistachio, magazines and toys in stock. Does this seem like a problem to anyone else but me?

What about PVC with some of that high temp header wrap on it? Seems logical that if it doesn't burst into flames when wrapped ON the header it would protect the PVC, no? Just a thought if the search comes up empty.
