Scion is Dead

Toyota announced this morning that the Scion brand is getting the axe but most of the models are continuing as Toyotas.

Toyota used to sell a lot of youth marketed vehicles (MR2, CELICA, SUPRA, SMALL TRUCKS) but killed them all off for more, LARGER Camry's and Avalons. Initially, I thought Toyota had died and was making a comeback as Scion. Hopefully, Toyota won't overprice the crap out of them and they will sell and they will become a fun car company again.

But haven't you seen the commercial where the nonthreatening-but-still-attractive sales lady is drifting a Camry through the dirt with its new sporty grille?? See? They're young and hip!!
