I have the Escort C65 version of this. Seems better than Passport 8500 X50 with fewer falsing and great Ka range. Best new price I have seen. I would love the new Escort but you can buy 4 of these for less than the price of the new Escort....


And I actually like the voice and auto mute features...

How does it compare to your Valentine?

It has less false alarms probably because the V1 is so sensitive on K band. But most new radar with less false alarms are Ka and it does very well. I miss the arrows of the V1 but like the auto mute of the C65 (same unit)and it seems to pick up the Ka almost as far as the V1. It is the best bang for the buck detector by far.
