Banquet Thanks

I wanted to thank everybody who worked to put the banquet together. It was really nice! The food was surprisingly good for what I'd expect at a "banquet", and of course, ya can't beat the company! Even the entertainment was pretty good, with Ricky MC-ing for the awards and keeping things interesting. Thanks again and I'll see yall at T&T next month!

The 2008 awards banquet was a good one. The food was excellent. Hans did us a favor by getting a good sound system. I just hate it that so many of membership didn't attend. This was a great event.

I think what probably happened was that there were some people there that did not RSVP.Thats how the food and the tables were setup based on RSVPs +10.

Thanks for the compliments .Next year maybe we do more cushion where tables and seats are concerned.

Ditto. My father has enjoyed the club so much this season that he became a member just a few days before the banquet and he doesn't even race.

I thought the same! It did seem filled to capacity. If any more of the membership had come, we'd still be standing in line for dinner.

I'm new so I don't even know who of the membership yall were missing so much. I'm sorry you were disappointed that whoever wasn't there wasn't there. But for those of us who didn't know whom to miss, it was a very nice evening and I have NO complaints about the company!
