I received an email with the following information requested:
I have a 64 Corvette coupe that spent some time racing in the Southeast. One of the trophies that the owner showed me had one of your Alabama region SCCA emblems on it. The placard was missing so I don’t have an event name or date. It would have been between Jan of 1964 and Aug of 66. Is there anyone in your Region that is a custodian of past events and race results? If so I would appreciate if you could forward their information to me.
The car was a 1964 Corvette Coupe. Red with White interior and raced as #4. Drivers were John D Lewis (Owner) Cale Yarborough, G C Spenser, and Art Tattinger.
If anyone knows some information I could pass on to the new owner, or knows where to point him for information it would be appreciated.
