  • Super ATE Blue Racing Brake Fluid

Is this true that ATE Super Blue is no longer sold in US?

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall and torque is how far you take the wall with you.

Yes. It is no longer street legal, as DOT requires all brake fluid be clear or amber in color. You can still get the ATE Type 200, which is the same stuff, just without the blue dye that makes system flushes much easier.

I bought some blue from these guys last month: http://www.bavauto.com. Looks like they no longer sell it.

News of its "illegality", due solely to the blue color, came out several weeks ago. Since then I thought I saw that labeling saying "off-road use only" had been added so that I may continue to be available.

That stinks, I was wondering about the 200 @ 1st, but then i compared the specs and it seems to be the same stuff. I got one full can of blue left, let the bidding start! Lol

there is no difference between the ATE 200 and the ATE 200 super blue, other then the dye which makes the blue color. The reason they do this is to allow for "easier knowledge of full flushes".

I thought we had already discussed this a while back?
