I dont know how widely the sad news of Clydes death has spread so I figured I would post this email I recieved this afternoon from Diane Eckert. Clyde was devoted to the club and just one of the most "unforgettable" people I have met and I will miss him.
It is with extreme sadness that the Atlanta Region announces the last checkered flag for Clyde Bales. Clyde passed away on Saturday night.
A celebration of the life and times of Clyde Bales will be at Road Atlanta on Sunday June 30 from 4:07 pm to 6:07 pm. Clyde's family is still working on the details.
In addition, there will be a tribute to Clyde at the DBL/DBL at Roebling Road on Saturday.
