question for you PC saavy folks

I got a bluetooth to RS232 reciever for my megasquirt and am in the preperations to buy an android based tablet torun shadowlogger and shadow dash on but anyways in the meantime I wanna connect to it with my laptop which isnt bluetooth ready.Im looking around on differantsites and there are a ton of bluetooth to USB adapters on the market ranging from $6 to $50. What is the dang differance ? They all seem to make a non bluetooth ready PC able to do bluetooth but maybe there are differant rates of speed or something seperating thembut for my purposes Im not sure i need an expensive one ....but then again Im just a simpleton when it comes to computers and bluetooth and such.

Go to new egg and find the one with the most reviews that is at or above 4 and you will most likely be fine. HMMV

That being said I have been lusting after Shadow Dash just a little... $100 tablet would make a great replacement dash.
