Ok, here's the deal, I got a friend thats looking at getting an abandoned 1989 Nissan 300zx. He's planning on selling the t-tops, wheels, and crushing the body, b/c he's not interested in it, and the front bumper is missing. I could prob. get it from him for cheap, but I'm not sure if its the older or newer body style. I like the newer body and know you can get a serious amount of power of it, but im not sure on the older. Whaddya think?

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall and torque is how far you take the wall with you.

    Does it run?

Because they heard I liked my name, so they put my name as my name so I could have my name in my name... all the time.

I want to say the 89 is the older style. The "newer" style was like 90+ I think. There was still a turbo model in that chassis, and even the NA version wasn't that bad. Probably a decent car to get started with RWD ... if it runs.

Correct, the 89 is a Z31, as pictured above. The Z32 generation started in 1990.

These can still be super fun, and it's rwd...if you get it for that cheap, rally car!

If it's got ttops let it go to the crusher. T-Tops in a uni-body car is like cutting 3 or 4 vertibrate outta your back. They get real flexy. Hardtops are much sturdier for performance driving.

There's power to be had in those cars though.

Ive never been a fan of the z31 body style but if its next to nothing then no loss there.
