Hi I just wanted to introduce myself...
My name is Dan and I'm from Mobile. I'm an active member of the Gulf Coast region SCCA. Most of my experience is in autocross, but I've done a few track days. Road Atlanta in an Integra Type R in '00, Barber's on a CBR600RR in '04 and a couple at TGPR recently in an S2000 and a Z06. My interest is in solo events and I'm aware of the upcoming TT thanks to John Waight. I'll be looking for info on here before registering for this event.

Thanks for the welcomes! The GCR is healthy. We have our first autox of the season this Sunday. There's a lot of good people putting in the time to make it the best it can be. Our usual site is pretty small and has a building right in the middle of it. We tried two more sites last year and we had 77 drivers show up at one of them.
We finally got access to an old airstrip at Brookley Field and that works pretty good other than limited space (30 cars) for grid and paddock. We'll have an autox school in the spring, a couple of test-n-tunes at Brookley, some night events in the summer and at least one mirror khana. There's several of us that like to wander off to play in other regions, so we'll probably meet soon!
