Track width: 39-52 feet. And everybody complains that Barber is too narrow at 45.
I want to work turn 12. Looks like a tremendous braking zone there, at the end of what's probably the highest-speed straight (1000 meters long?)
Turn 1 looks like a typical F1 first-lap cluster foxtrot. Put lots of folks there to pick up parts and pieces before they come back around.
The 3-9 segment might be pretty fun to watch, like Road Atlanta's esses, if you can find a good spot to see all or most of that stretch.
Now, what really matters is the amenities for the teams and sponsors, as well as whether they can actually write checks big enough to make the commercial rights holder happy as the years go by.

Interesting comment about the track width, Chuck. It is quite a bit longer, though. no arguing that. (off topic) Anybody know when the track expansion is planned? Some time after the museum expansion is all I've heard.

Why do I keep racing these weird cars?
Why can't I just get a miata and be happy?
I talked to my uncle the other day who owns the majority of the Fire Trucks that George has in his Fire Truck museum. He said that the Museum expansion is definitely set to go very soon. After that they are looking to add a few other attractions around the area (Fire truck museum, and some other similar things) and then look at expanding the track.
