Hey guys...I just wanted to stop in and introduce myself to everyone. I've been thinking anout getting into doing trackdays and some other events locally, and have absolutely no idea where to start. lol I drive past TGPR all the time and wish i could just get out there and drive a while. maybe a few of you can help me learn the ropes and get all the info I may need.

Hi James.

This weekend is a time trials event at TGPR. You could come out tomorrow, watch some of the action, and meet a few of the folks. Lots of our regular autocross participants are there either driving or volunteering to work.

I just said that so if he wanted to get some track time at the track he was asking about that was an option.Not trying to thread jack,sorry.

Actually, Paul, you didn't jack the thread, after all. I was thinking he was asking specifically about the Club, so I was pointing out the SCCA conflict. However, upon review, I see that he did mention the track, specifically, so that may be his real interest.

However, thread jacking is not a crime. In fact, it's a highly-developed art in these here parts, and something to be either savored or envied, depending upon which side of the activity you're involved with.

So, who's going to Road Atlanta for the TT/PDX/National/Pro-IT, next month?
