  • Indycar tix

I have 2 general admission tickets for Friday and 1 for Sunday. They are free if someone wants to come get them today (friday tix are $20 and sunday are $60 at the gate). Kids under 13 get in free. Free parking is at the Birmingham Race Course where you will board a bus for the track. Grab a free ticket and a trip to see the Indycars will only cost you what you spend in cokes & hotdogs

I will be at work til 4pm at the APC headquarters downtown B'ham and then heading home to Kimberly. Email me at rhardiman at gmail dot com if you're interested and I will send you my cell number.

I'm working corners at the event, so if you want the Sunday ticket we could meet after I leave the track Friday or Saturday.

Because they heard I liked my name, so they put my name as my name so I could have my name in my name... all the time.

Ah, somebody already got the best tickets - Saturday's. Based on the last two days of testing, the GS/ST Continental Tires Challenge race is shaping up to be the best of the weekend, with a big field and lots of enthusiasm and variety, and at least a couple old SCCA Pro drivers in the mix.

The Rolex race could be cool, too. Yesterday, the 01 car stayed at the top of the timing tower all afternoon until just a few minutes before the 1:45 session ended, when the 99 jumped from around 10th to P1. Apparently they'd either been sandbagging or found something late.

I think Saturday will be the best day also. Indycars will be qualifying so they will be at their fastest. Looks like the GS/ST race field is 60+ cars.

Today's DP qualifying was interesting. 01 & 99 are on the 2nd row. 10 is on pole and the unsponsored 90 is second. Should be a fun day tomorrow!
