On another note, nothing against Clay (he's just running within the SCCA classifications), but how the hell is the ACR SRT-4 a GS car? It's got wider wheels, a stiffer rear sway, more tire, lighter interior and a lowered stance (which is legal in this case as it's due to the strut not the spring). Sounds to me like it would go straight to STX, but they decided to let it run in Stock class. Just weird.Matt W.

At National and regional events you have to be "that way" about everything. We had the entire HS grid getting ready to protest us for being too low. Seriously, we had 6 or 7 guys standing around the car before we even made run 1 on Saturday all saying how it wasn't possible that the car sat that low. I walked over and said "It's a 2002 model" and they all went oh and walked away. lol
If there is a way to protest something on your car THEY WILL FIND IT at a National event.Comment

yep. The 02 sits a good 2 to 3 inches lower then the rest of the first gens and the 2nd gen cars look like trucks when sitting beside Simon.Comment

Clay has wanted a SRT4 for awhile. Getting the ACR pkg and it landing in GS was pure coincidence
