Anything going on within a reasonable one day driving distance in the next week or two? I'm going into detox. It's not a pretty picture.

I guess Homestead and Sebring are a bit outside your preferred range. . . They're having two double SCCA national races the next two weekends at Homestead and then Sebring.

Then, there is the Dakar rally, starting on the 2nd, I believe. . .

Weekend of the 9th is Grand Am's Daytona test days.

I'll be at Daytona for the 24. I was thinking more along the lines of ME driving something, not watching others.

Whoops, that's a Thursday. Probably a single individual, plus it's leading up to the 24.

We shall be in Florida! Can not wait. We ran our own virtual 24 last year during the 24 and it was all that. It's going to be nice to be back down there in person though. Even if it's without the access I'm used to, lol. How do I get back in Mr. France's suite again? Hmmmm.

Maybe Wiregrass Region has something scheduled for Jan. 10th. http://www.sccawiregrass.org/ has some contact info, although most of the site seems to be out of date (not a particularly unusual situation for volunteer-run organizations, unfortunately.)
