YIPPIEEEEEEEE !!! Santa brought me a Sapphire HD 3850 High Def Video card. Now I can see LFS or GT Legends with EVERYTHING turned on. This is just too much fun for sooo little money. Amazing!

Can we all just agree to ignore whatever comes after Blue Ray? I don't want to have to restart my collection ...... again.

My 4830 broke after 45 min of DiRT 2 ... waiting for Santa to complete my RMA currently. Once you go 1620x1080 with effects up @ 70 FPS, it is hard to go back ... =(

Because they heard I liked my name, so they put my name as my name so I could have my name in my name... all the time.

        1) I believe that the PC can handle a few more effects and smoothing options than the PS3
        2) 900º wheel rotation on my G25 ... PS3 is limited to 280º I think. No clue why.
        3) I actually have a PC.

I think the correct answer is BOTH. Never been a big console fan, always preferred the PC and specifically LFS. But Santa brought me a G27 to replace my 11 year old Momo red wheel. Since it's compatible with both PS3 and PC I plugged it up to the PS3 and tried NFS Shift, GT5p and Dirt2.....wow. The physics shortcomings are many, but the immersion factor trumps all of that when sitting 3 feet from a 67" Samsung. It was also my first tme to play with the gated shifter, which works out better than I thought. The total experience is great and certainly gives the console merit where I was 100% PC before. Not giving up my LFS, though.

Look for a possible virtual autocross next week to test out your new bit of sim gadgetery with. It will be LFS based and running on Race2Play. I messaged Tim today reagrding some server space. We shall see if he will grant it or not.
