While everyone's on here talking up their own cars, I might as well throw in the name Toyota Celica!! The GT-S is fun to drive, 2-door hatchback, I love mine... it's a 4 cylinder but it has the attitude of a supercar!! Of course, the last one was made in 05, so it might be a stretch finding one with less than 45K, but you can definitely find one for less than $15K!

Ya im still kind of caught between ideas. I fixed the radiator, or rather replaced it, which was easier than i had anticipated.

Test drove some cars, and the wife has nixed the smaller optoins like RSX, celica etc... She liked the GTI we drove, and so did i, but they were newer and not having a 400 dollar car payment would be nice.

Sorry i took so long to check, but that yellow evo is not listed anymore... I had a friend recommend a honda fit. I wanted to gut him but he made me listen and he said they are at least light and still practical. I have also found this http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...&seller_type=b which intrigues me other than its minivaness. It is still a search in progress, especially deciding how much i really want to spend monthly.

When I went to South Carolina Region autocross last summer there was a guy next to me autocrossing a Honda Fit, and I think he was doing fairly well. So, it can be done! Might not trophy at National's with it or anything, but the guy next to me seemed to be having fun in his little Honda Fit...

Ya i saw that, thought it was kind of funny. But i dont think it quite explains the price still. I am waiting to get a carfax on it to double check and make sure its straight. I emailed him for some more pictures as well.

EDIT: Eh well scratch this idea, hes already sold it and left the ad up, thanks guy..

How about a Mini? It's very competitive in class. Comes with 4 sets of wheels and tires, Koni adjustables, cat back exhaust, K&N drop in panel, almost new RS2's, V710's and, 16" run flats and 15" 7 holes with nice street tires and is ready to win HS pretty much anywhere you want to take it in the country.

It's an 02 with 31k on it. Not sure if you know Greg Lee, but on the outside chance you do, it's his old car. It has been very well taken care of. If you would like more details let me know and I will figure out how to give you a call.

Sean, you really should keep a car longer than 6 months...

We've had the Mini for somewhere around a year and half now. It's time for something else. I LOVE the car. LOVE it so much in fact I've named him Simon, lol. There is an S4 Avant or A3 3.2 DSG out there with my name on it! Maybe even an M3!

And im back, again. Its been a while, and the talon has treated me with a few projects i could handle. Asploding radiators, new plugs and wires, which fixed that apparent boost leak from before, and now a project i cannot handle, fuel tank mount ripped. So the fuel elbow sheared off, expectedly so, and its now sitting, like a champ.

But it forced me to go get a car, which i did, an 05 rx8, with 40k on the clock, for 11,700. All warranty work done, new engine at 26k per the recall with a test of "loss of power". I am very excited to come to autox, but because of the airshow here in montgomery. So in april ill be there with a couple cronies in tow.
