    Congratulations to Ricky Ragan

    I just wanted to say congratulations to Ricky for an excellent write up in the Oct. Sportscar magazine. For those that haven't seen it, it is on page 8, the write up "Its not just a Club." I believe this is a great thing for our group and an excellent showing of our RE.

              Shucks guys ....to be totally truthful...the only way I knew that article was there was due to the fact John Kilgore put this post out on it .

              I guess a little background would be in order.I was contacted out of the blue by Jim,whom i have never met and only spoken with once,who is as I understand it very envolved with his regions internal workings and he asked who I would recomend in our area to help his son prep his car for a day at Barbers.....I said....I would be happy to help him out in whatever way I can.

              Quite frankly,my lending a helping hand to this young man with his brakes was nothing any of you guys wouldn't have done.I enjoyed it.Thank you all for the kind words because from time to time when the responsibilities get a little "heavy" its nice to be reminded that you are appreciated .

              Thanks guys ...you're the best.Its been a busy past couple weeks and I did need a bit of a lift.Im still in shock that Jim put that in sportscar .i need to call him and thank him for appreciating me in such a grandios way.The only problem is I dont know his number

              Ill find him.I am totally blown away .I am a father and I would hope that a member would do that for my son if I was in the same situation .
