Last I heard it was given approval by the board.

it appears that it has fallen apart on us .Its a long drawn out convoluted story that will be discussed and decided on how to proceed at the next meeting .

Basically after many hours of thi sand that between David Branch S and cahaba internet....it made lots of progress and then some issues popped up in the final tweaking of it and people at cahaba got fed up with fooling with it and they dropped it .

FWIW, I may be interested in taking on the project. Managing the site with something like Contribute should get the results that David wanted with little fuss, but I'd have to play around with it. It would not give the results he wanted for the photo gallery though. We'd need a different solution for that.

I would also have to suggest a different design for the pages.

I'll be glad to work with anybody who can both agree to produce what we need, and, be a man of their word. But I cannot make that decision, the board has to do it.

For those who are interested in designing the site, you might want to look at squarespace.com - they're getting a lot of buzz from folks like John C. Dvorak and Leo LaPorte. Apparently they are a hosting company that also provides some very interesting tools for designing a site, including basic web pages, blogs, photo galleries, and more. I signed up for a free trial when I didn't have time to fool with it, but it looked interesting the couple of times I looked at it.

Chuck, the promo looks intriguing- may be a solution for us. We will definately examine it in detail.
