Forgive me for asking because I know the information is contained somewhere on the site but I'm tired and pressed for free time. If someone wanted to get their proverbial feet wet on track, would the PDX novice at TGPR be the best way to do so? Thumbing through the GCR I don't see a section labeled PDX, I am probably just over looking it.

Yes, this is a great place to learn. GCR doesn't apply to PDX cars. If the car meets the PDX safety requirements it will be fine. These can be found on the motorsportreg site.

      Your Lotus or something else?

Yeah I'd like to get the seven on track. I've put some miles on it the past couple of weeks and feel its sorted good enough to start having some fun in it.

I just noticed it says $275 for two days of pdx and one slot open. Is that what I should sign up for? I believe I'm good on the pdx safety checklist provided I'm not over looking something.

Yes. PDX will be one of the run groups on both days. What normally happens on Sunday is the TT guys figure they have their best time for the weekend and start leaving, meaning the TT groups get smaller and the PDX folks get lots of track time.

I have to ask about the rollbar configuration that you have in that car. Could you post a picture?

Sure thing, Its a four point with diagonal cross bar, Car weighs 950 lbs wet. It should fully comply with the GCR, I don't see an option to upload a picture on the forum here so here is the only pic I have handy, Its on my Google drive. That pic was taken about a year ago during the build. Nothing has changed with the roll bar or frame except for paint color. If there is any other info I can get you just let me know and I'll post it up as soon as I can.

Well I have to say I'm really looking forward to the event, the kids have been bugging me to go camping for a while and I've got the wife on board with coming up Friday afternoon and making a weekend out of it.

The text on motorsportsreg reads " A PDX Tech Sheet is provided herein. You must take your vehicle, along with your tech card and Tech Sheet, to tech inspection." Where may I obtain the fore mentioned tech sheet and/or tech card?

I am not sure about the tech sheet, but I think you'll get the card at registration at the track.
