Many, many thanks to Ted, the workers, the kind and friendly folks of Robbinsville and everyone else who made this great event happen!
Seriously folks, this is a great, well-run event in a beautiful area and there's lot's to do nearby. The road is very challenging and steeper than videos depict. I learned quickly that if you need to slow down just lift off the throttle. The brakes are for going down the hill, and you'll need them there!
Congrats to Wally who made a 132.5 run to take 12th place overall and 1st in CSP, in a street legal car!
My E36 did well. No mechanical issues, just worn-out tires and an open, highway geared diff. I'll have both of those addressed by late September!
This is one great event, and if you missed it you're in luck: Sep. 29-30 is Dragon iii. See you there!
