Forum will no longer be utilized!

After facing many challenges with utilization of this forum for many years, the board voted on the evening of 1/12/2026 to stop use of the forum in favor of the modern, more effective means.

Most of our general club organization will now be coordinated via Discord and results from our events along with schedules and announcements will be hosted on our main alscca.net webpage.

What does this mean for the old forum? Well, in short we are going to stop using it. This has been reviewed several times in the past few years, and there has been a desire for some of more tenured members of the club to have the historic content preserved. In an effort to preserve this content, it was discovered that we could not simply export the content to be placed in a modern website. This forum will now become an archive only forum and will not be monitored. If you wish to preserve any of the content, this is your time to search the pages to find it. There is no promise that this content will remain available forever with the fragile nature of this forum.

  • Mucho THANKS CMHC 2011

Thank you to the ALSCAA workers and drivers who came up to the hill for the Rich Shafer Memorial Crow Mountain Hillclimb 2011.
Good to see the Kilgores and John W8 tackle the old man mountain and be part of the group of drivers that I didn't have to write up any incidents for the 2nd year in a row. Looking forward to seeing more of y'all early November at TGPR!

A fun, well run event as usual. Thankfully everyone played nice and there were no incidents. I couldn't quite find a smooth line and some of the turns are tough to take when you can't find the right line. Only 1 "oh crap" moment through the sweeper but it's all good.

Congrats to John and Mark Kilgore for some really respectable times up the hill. It must've been all the hard work C and Emily did as crew chiefs.
Big thanks to Sara and Chuck for working this event. You both are awesome!

        When is the repave?

The weekend could only have been better with more drivers and volunteers, but I hear some folks were at some little car event in Georgia.
