Is this the event where you work one day and PDX the next day for a discounted price?

Yeah you can do that. There's an option for it on the registration.

Registered Katie and myself for flagging and Comms. If we wish to get experience in another worker area, will we be able to do that one day? Of course, assuming we have enough workers to cover positions.

Advance registrations for TGPR are doing quite well. The PDX is lagging behind the TT.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the SOLO drivers to get out on a track. Come on out and play!

Casey I checked with Craig Farr on that licensing question and what I told you yesterday is accurate. Just download the form from scca.com and fill it out and fax it in to national and pay of course and you will have your novice license. This will be fine to run the level3 TT at TGPR. It wont qualify you to run hillclimbs or the atlanta event but once you complete I think 3 flat track events and get your participation log signed off and get the medical form filled out by a physician then you can get your full TT license which will enable you to run RA and hillclimbs such as Crow etc.

A word about the medical form . You dont have to have the physician exam form filled out for the novice license but you will once you apply for the full license . Look forward to seeing you at TGPR.

Ricky, are you saying that a Novice TT Permit isn't good enough to run TT at Road Atlanta? It's not a level 4 event. Did the National Office invoke rule 5.2.1.E? I do seem to remember that they did that for our event at the Superspeedway in '01, also.

Also, to review, does attendance at a TT school, such as the one we run in the spring, reduce the number of qualifying events needed to upgrade to a TT Competition license? I don't see that in the TT rulebook.

first Q chuck , no national doesnt require a full TT license for any flat tracks as far as I know but Butch K. requires a full TT license to run AR regions event at RA unless approved in advance by him, as an additional part of the supplementary regs.

second Q , yes attending the school automatically gets at least one and maybe two events in that weekend towards the full license. I know it is at least 1

Question, I went to sign up and did not see a way to pay with a CC. Is this an option or does it have to be a check?

payment at the event of mail it in . There should be a paper entry form on hte registration site that you can print and mail to the registrar.
