Forum will no longer be utilized!

After facing many challenges with utilization of this forum for many years, the board voted on the evening of 1/12/2026 to stop use of the forum in favor of the modern, more effective means.

Most of our general club organization will now be coordinated via Discord and results from our events along with schedules and announcements will be hosted on our main alscca.net webpage.

What does this mean for the old forum? Well, in short we are going to stop using it. This has been reviewed several times in the past few years, and there has been a desire for some of more tenured members of the club to have the historic content preserved. In an effort to preserve this content, it was discovered that we could not simply export the content to be placed in a modern website. This forum will now become an archive only forum and will not be monitored. If you wish to preserve any of the content, this is your time to search the pages to find it. There is no promise that this content will remain available forever with the fragile nature of this forum.

    OK where are all of the ALSCCA members who wanted to run in the club trial ? There doesnt look to be even one ALSCCA member signed up . Whats the deal?

    I thought folks would be all over this being that you dont have to have all of the crazy expensive level 3 prep safety gear. There are about 15 spots left in the club trial group with under 2 weeks untill the event.

    I'm still in limbo - moving to a different house has chewed up more time and money than anticipated. I may not know until the day of the event whether I'll be able to participate at any level.

    With that said, I can't think of a better opportunity to get this much track time for so little money. With or without getting official lap times, this weekend has traditionally been a hoot, and only gets better with the chance to win a trophy.

      Chuck, if I had a free weekend I'd offer to help you with the move. I know how much easier that is with several people pitching in. Hope you make it out to run with us.

        Life happened for me too. Ben has a basketball tourney in montgomery on that weekend. Otherwise I'd be there.
