Forum will no longer be utilized!

After facing many challenges with utilization of this forum for many years, the board voted on the evening of 1/12/2026 to stop use of the forum in favor of the modern, more effective means.

Most of our general club organization will now be coordinated via Discord and results from our events along with schedules and announcements will be hosted on our main alscca.net webpage.

What does this mean for the old forum? Well, in short we are going to stop using it. This has been reviewed several times in the past few years, and there has been a desire for some of more tenured members of the club to have the historic content preserved. In an effort to preserve this content, it was discovered that we could not simply export the content to be placed in a modern website. This forum will now become an archive only forum and will not be monitored. If you wish to preserve any of the content, this is your time to search the pages to find it. There is no promise that this content will remain available forever with the fragile nature of this forum.

  • Crow Mountain Hillclimb is upon us

I am signed up for this and urge all of you to do the same . Crow is a fantastic event that I have made a point to attend since 2007. The sign up thread for workers is http://teamtac.org/e107/e107_plugins...opic.php?50137

So far I am shown to be working corner station 7 . I would like turn 7 to be a ALSCCA corner so sign the heck up . If you happen to be a ham radio enthusiast then that is just icing on the cake since that is the communications method. This event is Oct.2nd &3rd.

Where are all those Alabama TT racers?

They are recognized by their absence among the Crow Mountain entries.

Alan, Jerry, Wally, John, Ricky, Charlotte, etc?

THis year, we will be known as the Rich Shafer Memorial. A commemorative embroidered shirt will be available at our cost ($25 M/L/XL or $27 for XXL). The shirt is a first come first served as the run will be of 82 shirts only. Over 25% of these are already spoken for.

Literally, the check is in the mail. One way or another I'll be there. Driving or working the ALSCCA corner. Either way.
