Forum will no longer be utilized!

After facing many challenges with utilization of this forum for many years, the board voted on the evening of 1/12/2026 to stop use of the forum in favor of the modern, more effective means.

Most of our general club organization will now be coordinated via Discord and results from our events along with schedules and announcements will be hosted on our main alscca.net webpage.

What does this mean for the old forum? Well, in short we are going to stop using it. This has been reviewed several times in the past few years, and there has been a desire for some of more tenured members of the club to have the historic content preserved. In an effort to preserve this content, it was discovered that we could not simply export the content to be placed in a modern website. This forum will now become an archive only forum and will not be monitored. If you wish to preserve any of the content, this is your time to search the pages to find it. There is no promise that this content will remain available forever with the fragile nature of this forum.

    Prerferred hotel in Oxford

    Where are participants and spectators planning to stay and sleep?

    Will each driver be assigned a security detail.
    The race groupies and autograph hounds really need to know!
    I hope to see many Refective #86 tattoos in the crowd

    I'm camping at the track, and my groupie is staying home marking trees, bushes and any tire he can find.

      We're camping in the Garden (of Hilton) at the I-20 exit in Oxford. 15 minutes to the track and good food in walking/stumbling distance.

      For entertainment we go to WalMart on Saturday night and people watch. I'm not kidding.


      Alan's got a Jeff Gordon tatoo, does that count?

        I am camping at the fair-field (Inn) since i had enough points for free nights Close enough to the Garden to observe the festivities (stumbling)..

          I'm at the Econo Lodge with my son, they've got an indoor swimming pool, figured he'd enjoy that I'll be in the tower helping work T&S, see ya'll there!

            I'm sorry but you are mistaken. It is in fact a Danica tatoo. I cant get a pic of it myself, but it shows her straddling the rear wing, with a rocket launcher in one hand and a leashed wolf in the other. FYI, it is is rather well done and quite discrete.
