  • 11/22/08 meeting minutes...

    1. We will be actively seeking a new and or alternative site for the NDCCC.

    A. Sean Yoder will be the Site Acquisition Lead and from this point on any and all possible sites should be discussed with him. If there are any leads on a new site location please contact Sean With a PM or email as soon as possible.

    2. Matt and Sean are now in charge of putting together the base ppt for the classroom segment of the NDCCC. We will put together the base structure for this aspect of the program and then present our finished product to the ALSCCA members that have and want to be a part of the NDCCC going forward fro their review.

    3. There was a unanimous vote to change the order of the exercises. From now on this will be the new order and the ppt will reflect this change.

    A. Basic 5 cone Slalom
    B. 5 cone offset slalom
    C. Cloverleaf (This has been moved from 4th to 3rd)
    D. Threshold Braking (moved from 3rd to 4th)
    E. Lane Change Braking
    F. Accident avoidance with lane change

    4. We would like the first class of the 2009 NDCCC to be held at the end of February beginning of March if possible. We need 3 weeks notice to let students know when and where the class will be held.

    Things needs to schedule class:
    A. Consult with Jamie Holiday regarding 09 Solo Schedule to avoid conflicts.
    B. We need feedback to see whether or not consulting with TT, Road Race, Rally Cross and TVR, TAC and possibly Atlanta region on their schedules to try and minimize the overlap of the NDCCC with all other local and regional club activities as possible. We realize we will never be able to please everyone all of the time, but we would like to make this as easy as possible on the volunteers that make this program possible.

    5. Does the ALSCCA need to establish a NDCCC committee consisting of a Chair and Sub-Chairs?

    A. Evan agreed to bring this up at the next Board Meeting .

I spoke to my neighbor last night regarding potential sites and he is going to take this as high up as he can. He sounded very confident that we could find a site to suit our needs. I will follow up with him towards the end of the week.

I liek this change, but you've got the original order off ... the old order was:

      A. Basic 5 cone Slalom
      B. Cloverleaf
      C. 5 cone offset slalom
      D. Threshold Braking
      E. Stop in a box
      F. Lane change

I thought something was fishy about that order. I like the idea of a change in exercise, and I'm still standing firm that we need to discuss the friction circle or something similar before the cloverleaf is done.

        Sorry I missed it guys

Because they heard I liked my name, so they put my name as my name so I could have my name in my name... all the time.

I agree Michael. The new order gives us a better segue for that I think.
