    We've got some Competition

    It appears as though the Vestavia PD is starting a defensive driving course for $125.

    It's a 2 day course, the first evening is a 4 hour classroom instruction, and the next day is 8 hours of range training, including skid control and recovery, and a reverse slalom.

    It's out at Liberty Park Elementary/sports complex.


    I'd be interested in sitting in on one of these and seeing what they're doing. It's apparently from the National Traffic Safety Academy, so it might be decent.

    That's the location we spoke to Vestavia's mayor about several months ago. It is really the only place in Vestavia to hold one.
