Fall 2011 Call for Workers
This fall we will undertake the largest ever number of students in our Teen Driver Clinics. The Clinics have been advertised on websites for months and recently two articles have run in the Birmingham News. Registrations are steadily streaming in. Since we will be at Regions Park where space is certainly not an issue, the item most likely to limit the number of students we can handle is worker availability.
Therefore, I would like to start getting commitments if you are willing to volunteer. Workers will need to be at Regions by 8am and plan on staying through 5pm (though hopefully we will not be that late, and I would not turn away someone who can only help during part of the day). If you have helped the Teen Clinics in the past, I need your help to provide feedback and coaching for the students. If you have never helped, or not comfortable with the feedback part, we need folks to setup/chase cones/tear down/registration/grid. Basically, I can use YOU!
As a small token of appreciation, the club provides lunch for the workers.
The Clinics will be held on September 10, October 8, & October 22. Please reply to this post or email teen.driver@alscca.net if you can commit to working any or all of them.
