Call for workers! April 23rd TDC

Our first Teen Driver Clinic of the Spring is coming up on April 23rd. Location is Gardendale First Baptist Church in Gardendale, AL. We have a full roster of students registered (14 at this time), but the event cannot happen without workers. Ideally I need about 10 folks. If you would like to pitch in for the first time, don't let that lack of experience keep you away. Much like an autocross we need workers to assist course setup and set up cones throughout the day.

In return for your help you will receive satisfaction that you helped train some young drivers to be better prepared drivers on the road. Oh, and I'll buy lunch

Please reply to this thread if you can commit to helping. You will need to be at the church at 8am and prepared to stay 'til 4pm.

FYI, as of today the April 23rd clinic is full with 15 students! Now we need a few more workers

If you've never helped out with one of these don't be shy, we can use all the help we can get! You can shag cones and work on that base tan before you head down to the beach, or you can help direct traffic when kids finish their exercise. You can probably even give sage advice about what they can improve upon!

ON SITE TRAINING! Come one come all! It's really worth the first half of saturday to come out and help, you can even get a few runs of each course in your car (shake down/test n tune).

It is the same location we have used before, now known as the south campus. Address is 940 Main Street, Gardendale, 35071. Directions from I-65 are:

- Take I-65 to Exit 271, Fieldstown Road
- Go east on Fieldstown Road
- Turn right at the 2nd traffic light on to Mt Olive Road
- Turn left at the next traffic light
- Take first left to enter church parking lot.

As the original post states, I would like workers to be there 8-815 so we will be ready when students start rolling in about 830.

OR, you can go to the 4th light (I think, there's a drug store on the corner) and take a right and then the church will be on your right. Less turns = more awesome.
