On November 6th, one of our students is a young man from our local youth home. David & his sisters have been in foster care/youth homes for much of their lives. He is a good friend of my sons. They stopped by to see what was going on during the Oct 2nd clinic and he was able to take a few rides with Ben.
The only vehicle he will have access to is the youth home leaders' personal minivan. Here is the special request, and its a big one I know: I am wondering if someone in the club may have an automatic-equipped vehicle they would be willing to bring out and let him use during the clinic. What I have in mind is someone who could bring a suitable vehicle to the clinic and then essentially serve as a ride-along instructor for David.
My boys & I would do this if David could drive a manual. I know it's a long shot, but please let me know if you are interested in being blessing to this young man.
